A woman’s view from the frontline: An interview with Sophie Bimson

I had the pleasure recently of meeting with Sophie Bimson the ‘Crime Prevention and Personal Safety Advisor’ at University College London (UCL). I was really interested to find out more about Sophie’s unique role and what it’s like to be a woman working in HE Security in 2020. ProtectED wins 2020 OSPA for "Outstanding Customer Service Initiative"

ProtectED has been named 2020 winner of the prestigious Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs) for "Outstanding Customer Service Initiative". This year’s Outstanding Security Performance Awards took place at the Royal Lancaster Hotel London on Wednesday 26 February 2020. The event was hosted expertly by stand-up comedian and ‘Chaser’ Paul Sinha. Brian Nuttall and Professor Allan Walker, Directors of ProtectED CIC, were at the ceremony to receive the award.
