The Herald - Scottish education: University marking boycott called off
The boycott of marking and assessments is finally coming to an end, the boycott which has which has left thousands of university students across the country facing their graduations without receiving their results has been called off.
The end of the boycott was announced by the University and College Union (UCU) yesterday. This is fantastic news for the students that still have unassessed work. The lasting consequences the students wrapped up this suffer, is something that we will probably never know, the lost opportunities and mental health pressures could be life long.
