IFSEC - Collaborative campus safety in Manchester

Chrissie Joslin Assistant Editor, IFSEC Global, has written a great article looking at the ground breaking project, bringing together the universities across Manchester, to help ensure student safety no matter where they are.

Chrissie speaks to ProtectED Fellow and Head of Security at the University of Salford Trevor Jones and Chief Operating Officer at CriticalArc, Darren Chalmers-Stevens about the project.

It is great to see that the project uses the ProtectED Code of Practice principles in its application, which is no surprise with Trevor Jones, being one of the ProtectED concept creators. CriticalArc also feature in the Code of Practice as an example of great practice, in student safety. It will be great to see the impact this has on student safety and security.
