We have reported before on the problems that care leavers and estranged students face when wanting to attend university, this article enforces the stark realities and these students have to overcome to not only attend university but to finish their studies. There are no surprises that the main issue is students needing support on where to live, and thankfully there are organisations like StandAlone and the Unite Foundation that do support students with their accommodation.
