Times Higher Education - Disability, discrimination and redress: how to guide your students through the process of asking for reasonable adjustments


The Times Higher Education News has previously spoken to Robert and Margaret Abrahart about their victory in the High Court, after the University of Bristol appealed a ruling that it had broken equality legislation.


What does this mean for students with disabilities, it is clear that with most services within Higher Education it can be a lottery for the student on what support they receive. It is about time that universities look at what they have in place and update their support systems, as more students need help, this could be another reason that a student chooses to go to a different university, or drops out.
